In 1979, after graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in Building Construction (Civil Engineering), Frank Guidobono joined his father and his brothers in the Michigan family business, Cambridge Construction. Anticipating the opportunities and need for a construction company that provided a high-quality experience and superior results on Hilton Head Island, in 1982 Frank established Cambridge Building Corporation in South Carolina.

Frank is a licensed General Contractor in South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina and Mississippi, though the focus of his practice today is on Hilton Head Island, Bluffton and the surrounding Lowcountry of Georgia and Coastal South Carolina.
